The Furnace

WHO WE ARE

The Furnace is what we call the Student Ministries at Christian Heritage Church in Tallahassee, Florida. We chose the name "The Furnace" because we want to disciple teenagers who reflect the same lifestyle as the three young men in Daniel 3. These boys were taken from their homes and forced to live as slaves. When they were offered the temptations of the world, they denied and were thrown into a fiery furnace. They stayed true to God and were a witness because of it. These are the core values of The Furnace. We want to disciple teenagers who "...yield their bodies so as not to serve or worship any god except their own God." (Daniel 3:28)

MISSION

Our mission is to disciple teenagers who walk with humility and power.

VISION

We see teenagers who graduate from our program as individuals who are ready and willing to demonstrate the Kingdom of God everywhere they go.

WHERE DO WE MEET

We meet every Sunday at 9am (for Kingdom Class) and 10:30am (for worship). We also meet every Wednesday at 7pm (for community night/small groups). The Furnace always meets in the Fellowship Hall at CHC and we would love to see you there.
